Are you feeling stuck, unsure of how to move forward, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences? You are not alone – and therapy can help. I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns of thinking, gain insight, and develop adaptive strategies for meaningful change. I am deeply committed to supporting both adults and teens in navigating life stressors, anxiety, depression, mood instability, interpersonal challenges, obsessive thinking, the lasting effects of trauma, and more. I believe that each individual should be met where they are, while providing the tools and support to allow them to move forward.
Coping with our difficulties can at times feel impossible. I take an integrative approach to therapy, working from a psychodynamic foundation while infusing aspects of other modalities including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Together, we will explore both your past and present experiences to better understand your challenges and find pathways towards growth.
I appreciate the complexities of therapy and how challenging this work can be. I bring enthusiasm to each session and take pride in my individualized, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approaches to care. No two individuals are alike, and I believe that therapy should be approached with this in mind. I value the importance of providing a safe, warm, and empathetic environment to establish a secure therapeutic relationship with each of my clients, as this lies at the forefront of my work. Sessions with me are typically unstructured, allowing you to freely explore whatever may be on your mind with guidance in identifying patterns of your ways of thinking and navigating the world.
If you're ready to begin your therapy journey or would like more information to see if this is the right fit for you, feel free to reach out at a.fraser@malafamily.org. I offer virtual individual therapy for adults and older adolescents, and I look forward to supporting you on your path to healing and self-discovery.

I strongly believe that everyone has the ability to become the greatest version of themselves, no matter the cards they are dealt. I chose to dedicate myself to the field of psychology as I want to be a force in helping others to heal and understand themselves on a deeper level, while also working to break down the stigma surrounding mental health.

I love that therapy offers the opportunity for individuals to explore themselves in a way that no other space really offers. I enjoy being able to work collaboratively with my clients to foster growth, resilience, and self-discovery. Every individual is different, and I am honored to be able to provide a space where others can share their stories while feeling heard, accepted, and understood.

I love being able to work with each of my clients to identify what works best for them in session. I utilize a variety of different approaches including talk therapy, play, art, and various forms of self-exploration. The therapy room is the client's space to get to know themselves on a deeper level, and I am here to help guide that experience while offering a sense of connection, empathy, and safety.

I believe in the inherent worth of every individual and their capacity for growth. Through collaboration and individualized care, I strive to create a safe and inclusive space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. My goal is to empower individuals to navigate life's challenges, discover their strengths, and achieve their fullest potential.

I want you to know that you have the ability to reach your highest potential and that no dream is too big. I am not here to judge you, your feelings, or your experiences. I am here to help you navigate the challenges that may come your way, and to learn more about yourself in the process. I hope that by working with me you feel safe, secure, and understood.

I am passionate about working with those who have experienced trauma and/or adverse life experiences and allowing them to process the difficult emotions that may come with that. I also hope to have an impact on reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and going to therapy. We are all human, and it is always okay to ask for help.
